The Sport Industry Group has appointed sports communications agency Soapbox London as PR and social media agency for the Sports Industry Awards 2023, to be held at Evolution London on 27 April.

The agency will be tasked with working with the in-house team at Sport Industry Group to ensure media coverage, manage the on-site red carpet and provide social media channel support for the biggest night on the sports industry calendar.

The appointment marks a continuation of the relationship between the Sport Industry Awards and Soapbox London, which began with the Awards 2021 and where Soapbox managed PR and social media for the 2022 event, including supporting the launch of the Sport Together Fund.

Commenting on the appointment, Dylan Pugh, Managing Director of Sport Industry Group said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Soapbox for the Sport Industry Awards 2023.

The announcement marks the end of a big year for Soapbox. 2022 was the agency’s most successful year to date, with record revenues and the expansion of the PR team with client wins such as World Snooker, Meta and more.
