Robert Beat – Quantuma
The management consultancy Quantuma has appointed Robert Beat as Managing Director of their growing London team.
Robert joins the firm with over 30 years of experience in the bankruptcy industry after having worked for Baker Tilly Creditor Services, part of RSM UK Group, for the past two decades. He also led and built bankruptcy departments at Cape & Dalgleish and Morison Stoneham and led a variety of projects and initiatives.
During his long career in restructuring and bankruptcy, Robert has been instrumental in developing unique systems, including business and portfolio risk management tools and a solution to manage all types of bankruptcy claims.
In his new role at Quantuma, Robert will be based in the firm’s London office with a UK role. He will play a hybrid role, building relationships with accountants, attorneys and asset-based lenders, working directly with companies in sectors such as utilities and telecommunications, and supporting Quantuma’s credit services team.
Last year, Quantuma saw its workforce grow 45 percent and has a team of 273, up from 188 in 2020. Recent hires in the UK have included appointments as managing directors for its growing forensic accounting team, David Bell and Kate Hart, and Ben Hammerton, to manage its eDiscovery offering.

Bala Sinha – engine B
Engine B, a next-generation AI-powered audit technology company, today announced the appointment of Bala Sinha as Product Director.
Sinha brings over two decades of technology services industry experience working in strategic product management, quotation management, account management, customer service, go-to-market, and real-time data operations.
Sinha joins Engine B from global corporate data provider Dun and Bradstreet, where he was principal product manager on the third party risk and compliance team.
Previously, he worked at ICE Data Services and Refinitiv in product and offer management. At Engine B, Sinha will be responsible for aligning the company’s roadmap and working closely with Engine B’s engineering and business teams to execute critical deliverables.
The Engine B consortium consists of 13 professional service companies, four academic institutions and a technology house. It extracts critical intellectual property that feeds into the Engine B platform to accelerate current and future services and help businesses and businesses drive their own digital growth.

Kristi Hoyle-Kaizen
Kaizen has appointed Kristi Hoyle, who joined the team in November. The move comes from the continued dynamism of the London marketing agency and the entry into a new phase of stable growth and maturity.
Kristi joins from QueryClick, where she served as Client Service Director and a senior member of the management team. She supported the implementation of strategic initiatives that influenced change and growth.

Mark Porter – SO Resi Partnerships
SO Resi Partnerships has appointed an experienced new Head of Partnerships who has assumed responsibility for the innovative Shared Ownership Sales Agency. Mark Porter will lead the national expansion of the service, helping provide outside agencies better ways to market their jointly owned properties to prospective clients.
Mark Porter joins SO Resi Partnerships from Heylo, where he spent four years managing the housing company’s Your Home product, a joint property offering for the second-hand market. Prior to joining heylo, Mark had a successful 17 year career as a mortgage broker with The Mortgage People.
Mark comments: “What attracted me to the position was the opportunity to get back into relationship management in all its glory and to be part of an innovative agency that really makes a positive difference in the area of affordable living.

Ishmail Omar, James Sackey – Born socially
The social media agency Born Social announced that Ishmail Omar will take on the role of Head of Client Services and James Sackey as Head of Paid Media.
Ishmail joins Born Social after two years of working with London-based advertising agency Lightning Sharks and Swiss non-profit Bitcoin Association to build their in-house teams to develop a social strategy.
He started his career with Facebook marketing partner StitcherAds before moving to iProspect and OMD EMEA. Global brands in Ishmail’s repertoire include: P&G, Adidas, British Airways, Bacardi and Intel.
