Sean O’Leary, Bellway

Sean O’Leary was named Bellway Land Buyer upon successful completion of the company’s graduate program.

Sean started the full-time position last month (September) after joining the London Partnerships division of National Housebuilders based in Dartford in January 2020 as a graduate land buyer.

Sean said, “I’m really excited to have the chance to develop my career at Bellway,” said Sean, who graduated from the University of Southampton with a degree in Politics in 2018.

“I was working for a legal services company evaluating land risks for building applications when I saw a job posting for Bellway’s graduate program.

“I applied for the position as a land buyer and was lucky enough to get in.”

Sean said the graduate program is typically two years, but its assessment period has been shortened due to the pandemic.

Bill Kenneally, Regional Director of Bellway London Partnerships, said, “Sean’s progress is a prime example of the path at Bellway leading straight from a position in the graduate program to a full-time executive.

“Sean has worked very hard at the company and seized the opportunity with both hands and we are delighted to have him on board.

“The graduate program is a very important source of talent for Bellway and represents an opening into the industry for those who have graduated and are pursuing careers in home building. We look forward to working with many other graduates in the future. “
