Grocery wholesaler expands business after six-figure support from HSBC
To cope with the reported surge in demand, a London grocery wholesaler has bought two additional warehouses in Park Royal with funds from HSBC.
London based Garousca sells a range of grocery products to retailers in the UK and overseas. Garousca specializes in herbs, spices and oils, among other things.
The company has used the funding to acquire two new locations alongside its existing Park Royal location, totaling over 4,000 sq ft. The additional space should enable Garousca to increase its storage capacity by 30 percent.
Shafiz Garusana, Director of Garousca, said: “We are delighted to be able to further expand the business with the acquisition of these two new locations.
“The capacity increase allows us not only to expand operations, but also to compete for larger customers as part of our broader business growth strategy.
“We are grateful for the continued support from HSBC UK and our customer advisor Daniel Gibbs, who have been instrumental in our business since we bought our first bearing almost 20 years ago.”
Chris Chambers, Area Director of HSBC UK for London City Business Banking, added: “Garousca has continued to grow this year despite the difficult conditions and we look forward to supporting the future expansion of the business. We look forward to continuing to support the company on its growth path. “
