It got so bad that it was selling white wine at half price on Deliveroo to attract takeaway orders during lockouts.

The restaurant opened just two months before the Covid access. Ed said, “If you want to make a small fortune in the food industry, you should start with a large fortune.
“It’s one of those things that is very difficult to do, unless you’re Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsay and you have a lot of restaurants.”
Bad Habits singer Ed, who is # 1 on the singles chart, has teamed up with his manager Stuart Camp to open the West London restaurant named after their two wives.
He wanted to invest the profits of his lucrative tours in something substantial after he originally had the idea of opening a chicken shop.
Ed said, “It got off to a rocky start when it opened two months before the pandemic.”
The simple menu includes starters made with Butley Creek oysters from Orford in Ed’s beloved hometown of Suffolk, a selection of small and large plates and desserts.
“London is full”
It is suitable for all diets and is reasonably priced for its affluent location. The most expensive item on the menu is a £ 24.50 rib eye steak with hand cut chips and pepper sauce.
Ed said, “There are really good beers and good things on the menu – which is basically what I want in the bar.”
Ed spoke to songbird Jessie Ware on her Table Manners podcast about his sideline and admitted that when he visited London, he wanted to eat somewhere so he could switch off from the international pop star.
Ed, who owns a hectare villa in Suffolk, said, “I love London, but when I lived there all day I felt trapped and didn’t go out much. I thought people cared more than they did.
“Now I live in Suffolk and immerse myself in London for one night and enjoy the experience. I am a boy from Suffolk and this is where I feel most comfortable.
“I can go to a pub and meet people and say ‘OK’, but London is full.” And there are a lot more restaurants to compete with.
