Brunswick Park: Tributes after corpse found in South London Park in search of missing woman, Aug.

A body was found in a park in south London while searching for a missing nurse, 32.

Brunswick Park in south east London (SE5) was cordoned off after a body was discovered while searching for the missing Petra Srncova.

The body was reportedly discovered by a group of children playing in the park on Sunday (December 12).

Emotional members of the local community have left floral tributes on the crime scene saying they are saddened by the loss.

Petra, from Camberwell, was last seen two weeks ago and police were initially investigating a missing person.

The Metropolitan Police said in a statement: “At this early stage, the woman’s death is being treated as unresolved.

“While the formal identification is pending, Petra’s family has been informed of this development.”

MyLondon reporter Callum Cuddeford was there on Monday morning, which is covered in our blog below. Do you know Petra and want to pay tribute to yourself? If so, send an email to [email protected]
